Operation Medicine Drop Drive-Up Event at the FVPD

The FVPD is working with NC Dept. of Insurance and Safe Kids NC to host an Operation Medicine Drop prescription drug take-back event on Fri., March 26, 2021 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the FVPD located at 401 Old Honeycutt Rd. in Fuquay-Varina. Operation Medicine Drop saves lives. Poisonings and deaths occur when medicines and prescription drugs end up in the wrong hands. Medications should always be locked out of reach of children, and when medicines are no longer needed, they should be disposed of in a safe way. Operation Medicine Drop is a partnership between Safe Kids NC(within the N.C. Department of Insurance), SBI, DEA, the N.C. Dept. of Justice &local law enforcement agencies such as the FVPD. FVPD has a permanent prescription take back box located in the vestibule of the PD located at 401 Old Honeycutt Rd.
