FVPD to Participate in the Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Walk

Since 2015, the Fuquay-Varina Police Department has been participating in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Fuquay-Varina and we are again participating on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at 2 p.m. at South Park (J. Wells Environmental Trail). Please support our effort. You may donate online or join our team! We walk to support survivors of suicide loss and to bring attention to this important issue to prevent further loss of life. This is a personal issue to me as police chief as I have lost a member of my family to suicide as well as friends within the law enforcement community. Please consider supporting our effort.
