Residents can dispose of televisions, computers, monitors, scanners, printers, and other electronic waste for free at the Electronic Recycling Convenience Center near South Park, 820 S. Main Street Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Remove all hard drives from computer components.
No white goods are to be left at the convenience center (refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, unit air conditioners, washing machines, dishwashers, clothes dryers, and other similar domestic and commercial large appliances). To dispose of these items, complete the Appliance Pick-up Form and pay the fee.
Please do not place trash in this collection site.
No material is to be removed from the center by the public.
Please place items inside for collection. Do not throw or break items apart.
The Town picks up electronic waste for a $10 pre-paid fee. Pickup MUST be scheduled and paid for by Friday at 5 p.m. at the Finance Office located in the John W. Byrne Municipal Building at 134 N. Main Street. You may also pay at the drive-up window located across the street from the Municipal Building.
