Summer Camp Programs

The Town will host weekly-themed camps beginning June 17, 2019 for children who have completed Kindergarten - 5th grade. 

Week 1: Movin' & Groovin' Week   June 17 - 21


Campers will have the chance to dance, sing, and craft throughout this music & dance inspired week! We’ll create musical instruments and explore all the places music can be found.

Week 2: Crazy Concoctions Week   June 24 -June 28

Campers will learn the ins and outs of health and keeping their body active in this fun filled week. Campers will be exposed to several types of health initiatives including fitness and food!

 

Week 3: Stars & Stripes Week   July 1 - July 5 (No camp on July 3 & July 4)

The United States is home to many different cultures and geographies. Campers will discover the history of their country and celebrate the diversities & freedom that make America a wonderful place to live!

 

Week 4: Wild West Week   July 8 - July 12

Howdy partners! Step right up for a fun-filled week of western style fun. Campers will enjoy a day at the railroad and a chance to become the best in the west.

 

Week 5: Out of This World Week   July 15 - July 19

Has your little one always wanted to become a mad scientist or explore the vast unknown of space? Well, look no further as our campers will take on several exciting experiments and create out of this word crafts!

 

Week 6: Shipwrecked Week   July 22 - July 26

Ahoy there mateys, get ready to sail the seas with a week of pirate fun and games. Campers will make themed crafts and have a swashbuckling time as they visit with the many creatures that live in our oceans!

 

Week 7: Sports Extravaganza Week   July 29 - August 2

The craziness continues as we bring out all of the campers favorite sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and more! Campers will enjoy an array of sports available throughout the week.

 

Week 8: Animal Planet Week   August 5 - August 9

Each day this week we will learn about the many animals all over the world and act like them too! Fun-filled days include animal themed crafts, games, and even a trip to the zoo!

Cost


The cost is $100 per week for residents ($60 for Session 3) and $125 per week for non-residents ($75 for Session 3).

Registration will open April 8, 2019.

​Junior Camp Counselors

(Ages 15 - 17) Junior Camp Counselors are area volunteers that will assist Parks & Recreation staff with the Summer Camp. Duties will include assisting with activity planning, helping campers with projects, and camp supervision. This is a great opportunity for teens looking to complete a service project or to gain some valuable experience for college and job applications.

Dates: Camp lasts from June 17 – August 9

Time: 7:30 am—5:30 pm – Shifts will be half days - either 7:30am - 12pm or 12pm - 5:30pm
