The Fuquay-Varina Public Service Center, which opened in June 2016, combines staff and equipment from the Town's Public Works, Public Utilities and Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Maintenance Department in to one central location providing greater efficiency and capabilities to continue to deliver exceptional services to Fuquay-Varina's growing community.
The Public Works Department provides weekly garbage collection and biweekly recycling collection services to more than 8,000 homes and businesses, offers regular yard debris and special collection services and maintains Town-owned streets and pedestrian walkways. The Public Utilities Department maintains approximately:

22 pump stations
140 miles of sewer lines
180 miles of water lines
The PRCR maintenance department takes care of an ever-growing parks system that currently includes 20 parks comprised of more than 300 acres.
