Construction is complete for ARC Electric, to be located at 2406 Waco Commercial Court.  The site features a 6,500 square foot industrial warehouse building with 11 parking spaces on 1.31 acres.

Aviator Brewery

Construction is underway for Aviator Brewery, to be located at the former Gold Leaf Tobacco Warehouse property, 609 North Street. The project proposes a 5.22-acre campus featuring a 44,140 square foot brewery and distillery, a retail merchandise store, a full service restaurant and bar, drive through coffee shop and multi-use pavilion on a 0.80 acre green lawn.

Bengal Towne Centre

The development features 13 tracts to be developed for a variety of uses such as office, commercial, mixed-use, apartments, and civic space. Additionally, the plans include infrastructure and 53 townhomes. Construction is underway for Lot 4, which includes a 110,000 square foot, mixed-use, four-story building with 78 residential units and 97 parking spaces on 1.27 acres. Construction is complete for Bengal Towne Center Lot 5, located at 1200 Galt Avenue, a 4,460 square foot Montessori School with 37 parking spaces on 0.45 acres.

Briar Gate Amenity Center

Construction is complete for an amenity center in the Briar Gate Subdivision, located off the proposed Briar Gate Drive. The amenity center features a 1,120 square foot building with a pool on 1.9 acres.

Bridge Street Industrial Flex

A site plan is in review for Bridge Street Flex Space to be located at 1001 and 1009 Bridge St. The proposed site includes retrofitting and reuse of 14 existing agricultural buildings totaling approximately 342,000 square feet for flex space with site improvements, including 169 parking spaces, on 32.87 acres.

Bowling Road Elementary School

A site plan has been approved for Bowling Road Elementary School, to be located at 1201 Bowling Rd. The proposed site includes a two-story 127,315 square foot educational building with 110 parking spaces on 64.95 acres.

Broad Street Square

A site plan is in review for Broad Street Square, located at 725 & 727 E Broad Street. The proposed site includes a two story 2,000 square foot commercial building and a 9,360 square foot single story commercial flex building with 64 parking spaces on 4.16 acres.

Calyx Senior Living

Construction is complete for Calyx Senior Living, to be located at 1121 E Academy Street. The proposed congregate living facility will include a 1-story, 47,330 square foot building with 51 parking spaces on 4.37 acres.

Carolina Gardens Amenity Center

Construction is underway for an amenity center in the Carolina Gardens Subdivision. The amenity site features a 21,325 square foot building with a pool, tennis and bocce ball court and mail kiosk area with 151 parking spaces on 6.95 acres.

CCL Label Facility

Construction is underway for CCL Label Facility, to be located at 7924 Purfoy Rd. The proposed site includes a one story 116,555 square foot industrial building with 154 parking spaces on 12.93 acres.

Central Dermatology

Construction is underway for Central Dermatology, to be located at 1301 Castlepointe Road. The amenity site features a 7,076 square foot building with 52 parking spaces on .91 acres.

Circle K

A site plan has been approved for Circle K, to be located at 6429 Sunset Lake Road. The site features a 5,200 square foot building with 37 parking spaces on 3.36 acres.  

Concordia Building

Construction is underway for Concordia Building, to be located at 2250 N Grassland Drive. The site features a 5,200 square foot building with 64 parking spaces on 2.51 acres.

Discount Tire

Construction is underway for Discount Tire. It will be located at 1260 N Main Street. The site features a 7,488-square-foot building with 27 parking spaces on 1.39 acres.

Express Oil & Tire Change

A site plan has been approved for Express Oil & Tire Change to be located at 1601 N Main Street. The proposed site includes a building with oil change bays and a building for tire service bays. The site will be on a total of 1.44 acres with 17 parking spaces.

Everlasting Life Church

A site plan is in review for Everlasting Life Church to be located at 6835 Dwight Rowland Rd. The proposed site includes a one-story 1,154 square foot worship building with 18 total parking spaces on 3.02 acres.

Faith Development Studio

Construction is underway for the Faith Development Studio, located at 9739 Fayetteville Road. The proposed site includes a 3,000 square foot building with 10 parking spaces on 1.5 acres.

Fuquay-Varina Community Center North

A site plan has been approved for Fuquay-Varina Community Center North, for a new Town Community Center located at 4525 Hilltop Needmore Road. The proposed site includes a two-story 76,950 square foot building with 202 parking spaces on 5.14 acres.

Fuquay-Varina Family Entertainment Center

Construction is underway for the Fuquay-Varina Family Entertainment Center, located at 1475 Judd Parkway NE & 1302 N Broad Street. The proposed site includes a 37,634 square foot building with 203 parking spaces on 5.46 acres.

Fuquay-Varina Fire EMS Station No. 4

Construction is underway for the Fuquay-Varina Fire EMS Station No.4, located at 4821 Wade Nash Road. The proposed site includes a 8,000 square foot building with 38 parking spaces on 6.20 acres.

Fuquay-Varina Middle School

Construction is underway for Fuquay-Varina Middle School, to be located at 1201 Bowling Road. The school will be a part of the Wake County Public School System and includes a 241,930 square foot building, 1,240 square foot auxiliary building, athletic fields and 182 parking spaces on 64.95 acres.

Gold Leaf Crossing

A Site Plan has been approved for the first phase of the Gold Leaf Shopping Center to be located at 1920 North Main Street across from Marquee Station. The first phase of development features 234,000 square feet of retail buildings and 960 parking spaces on 48.23 acres and will include the construction of Wallace Adcock Boulevard from Main Street to NC 42. The entire shopping center development proposes 800,000 square feet of retail development on 106.77 acres.

High Grove Oaks Amenity Center

A site plan is in review for High Grove Oaks Amenity Center to be located at 5300 Boylston Drive. The proposed site includes a pool, pool house, mail kiosk, and open space.  The site will be on a total of 1.92 acres with 26 parking spaces.

Hilltop Needmore Elementary School

Construction is underway for Hilltop Needmore Elementary School. The school will be located at 4575 Hilltop Needmore Road. The site includes a 50,965.2-square-foot building with 129 parking spaces on 28.83 acres.

Hilltop Needmore Self Storage & Retail

Construction is underway for the Hilltop Needmore Self Storage & Retail, located at 5744 Hilltop Needmore Road. The proposed site includes a 37209 square foot building with 52 parking spaces on 4.39 acres.

Infinite Retail

A site plan has been approved for Infinite Retail, located at 408 S Judd Parkway SW. The proposed site includes a 7,088 square foot building with 43 parking spaces on .81 acres.

Lakestone Commons Shopping Center Ph II

A site plan is in review for Lakestone Commons Shopping Center PH II, to be located at 600 Lakestone Commons Ave. The proposed site includes a one-story 5,555 square foot commercial building with 7 parking spaces added to the existing 112 parking spaces. The building will sit on 6.5 acres.

Lane Professional Park

Construction is underway for Lane Professional Park, to be located at 1880 N Broad Street. The site completes the Lane Dental Plaza site with 6 commercial buildings, a central lawn area and 246 parking spaces on 7.38 acres.

Murphy USA

A site plan is in review for Murphy USA to be located at 8000 Fayetteville Rd. The proposed site includes a 2,824 square foot convenience store with 6 gas pumps. The site will be on a total of 1.26 acres with 16 total parking spaces.

The Old Library Steakhouse

Construction is underway for the Old Library Steakhouse to be located at 133 S Fuquay Ave. The proposed site includes an existing 4,168 square-foot commercial building with an expansion in the front and in the back adding an additional 1,550 square feet.  The site will be on a total of .34 acres.

Parker Station Plaza

A site plan has been approved for Parker Station Plaza, located at 920 N Main Street. The proposed site includes two buildings: the plaza, a 10,508 square foot building with 66 parking spaces on .71 acres and the Young Scholars Academy, a 9,608 square foot building with 34 parking spaces on 1.87 acres.

Primoris

Construction is underway for a Primoris industrial facility, to be located at 3655 Banks Road. The site includes one 6,000 square foot building and one 2,500 square foot building with 15 parking spaces on 2.52 acres.

Primrose School

A site plan is in review for the Primrose School to be located at 408 Attain St. The proposed site includes a 13,775 square-foot educational childcare building.  The site will be on a total of 2.45 acres with 58 total parking spaces.

Redeemer Community Church

Construction is underway for Redeemer Community Church, to be located at 152 Wagstaff Road. The site includes a 19,475 place of worship building with 122 parking spaces on 12.48 acres.

Royal Creek Commercial Building #1

Construction is underway for Royal Creek Commercial Building #1, to be located off Ten-Ten Road in the Royal Creek Subdivision. The site includes a 5,200 square foot retail/commercial building with 120 parking spaces on 2.11 acres.

Royal Creek Lot 4

Construction is complete for Royal Creek Lot 4, to be located at 7750 Ten-Ten Road. The site includes a 3,600 square foot building with 26 parking spaces on .91 acres.

A site plan is in review for the Spices Hut to be located on N Judd Pkwy NE, east of Tommy's Express Carwash. The proposed site includes a 27,374 square-foot multi-tenant commercial building. The site will be on a total of 3.1 acres with 127 total parking spaces.

A site plan is in review for a building expansion at St. Raphael's Church, located at 1990 Stewart St. The proposed project includes a 4,070 square-foot expansion to the existing 4,000 square-foot church and will have 68 total parking spaces on 3.82 acres.

Construction is complete for Take 5 Carwash, to be located at 3451 N Main Street (Hwy 401), at the corner of N Main Street and Hilltop Needmore Road. The site includes a 3,375 square foot building with one carwash lane, eighteen vacuum bays and two employee parking spaces on 0.91 acres.

Technology Park Lane

Construction is underway for Technology Park Lane, to be located at 80 and 90 Technology Park Lane. The site includes a 24,990 square foot office/warehouse building with 39 parking spaces on 3.48 acres.

Tommy’s Express Carwash

Construction is underway for Tommy’s Express Carwash, to be located at 1320 Broad Street. The site includes a 4,553 square foot building with 18 parking spaces on 6.64 acres.

US Veterans Corps Operations Center

Construction is underway for US Veterans Corps Operations Center, located at 2538 Waco Commercial Court. The proposed plan features a 3,458 square foot building with 11 parking spaces on 2.48 acres.

Varina Gateway Townes Amenity Center

Construction is underway for an amenity center in the Varina Gateway Townes Subdivision, to be located at 2228 Sugar Cone Way. The amenity center features a 1,750 square foot club house and pool on 0.53 acres.

Wags to Riches

A site plan has been approved for Wags to Riches to be located at 2245 N Grassland Dr. The proposed site includes a 6,365 square-foot pet service/commercial building. The site will be on a total of 1.67 acres with 21 total parking spaces.

Wake Chapel Auditorium

A site plan is in review for the Wake Chapel Auditorium to be located at 905 Wake Chapel Rd. The proposed site includes a 41,090 square-foot religious building. The site will be on a total of 14.41 acres with 148 total parking spaces in addition to the existing parking.

WakeMed Medical Office Building

Construction is underway for a three-story office building, to be located at 2400 N Main Street. The property features an 82,432 square-foot building and 282 parking spaces on 18.62 acres.

Construction is underway for Abberly Royal Creek Apartments, to be located near the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and Ten Ten Road and a part of the Royal Creek Development. This multi-family development features 250 units and a club house on 9.76 acres.

Arlington Meadows

Construction of homes is underway for Arlington Meadows Subdivision, located at 1401 Angier Road. This open space development features 175 single-family lots averaging 8,324 square feet with 18.23 acres of open space on 61.28 acres.

Ascend Varina Gateway (Formerly Basal Creek Apartments)

Construction is underway for Ascend Varina Gateway, located at 2300 N Broad Street. This planned unit development features a variety of uses including two mixed-use buildings, 12 apartment buildings with 264 units, club house with a pool, dog park and a public greenway on 18.80 acres.

Atwater Station

Construction plans have been approved for Atwater Station Subdivision, to be located at 1800 Bass Lake Road. This form-based, mixed-use development features 238 townhomes and 192 single family homes with 13.45 acres of civic space on the residential portion of the 126.60 acre parcel.

Bentwinds Bluffs

Construction of infrastructure is underway for Phases 4 and 5 of the Bentwinds Bluffs Subdivision, to be located at 6717 Old Mills Road. This conventional subdivision features 33 single-family lots on 14.19 acres.

Betts Farm

A preliminary subdivision plan is in review for Betts Farm, to be located at 1200 Phelps West Road. This residential subdivision features 95 single-family lots with 10.28 acres of open space and 2.06 acres of common green on 64.91 acres.

The Village at Lake Wheeler

Construction of houses is complete for The Village at Lake Wheeler Subdivision, located at 8536 Lake Wheeler Road. This open space development features 101 single-family lots averaging 8,886 square feet with 11.82 acres of open space on 38.89 acres.

Vinci Subdivision

A preliminary subdivision plan has been approved for Vinci Subdivision, to be located at 6524 Burt Road. This development features 46 single-family lots averaging 41,316 square feet with 17.11 acres of open space on 65.74 acres.

Wake Chapel Square

Construction plans are under review for the Wake Chapel Square Subdivision, located at 1115 Wake Chapel Road. This Townhome development features 94 lots with 7.62 acres of open space on 20.35 acres.

William Bluffs

A preliminary subdivision plan is in review for William Bluffs Subdivision, to be located at 6411 Burt Road. This development features 41 single-family lots averaging 29487 square feet with 10.49 acres of open space on 41.99 acres.

 

 

 

New Businesses & Existing Business Improvements

This is a list of renovations and improvements to existing buildings for new businesses coming to Fuquay-Varina, as well as existing businesses making improvements or expansions.

Alliance Child Crisis Center

Renovations are complete for Alliance Child Crisis Center, to be located at 400 W Ransom Street, at the location of the former WakeMed of Fuquay-Varina.

Aviator Brewery

Construction is underway for Aviator Brewery, located at the former Gold Leaf Tobacco Warehouse property, 609 North Street. The project proposes a 5.22-acre campus featuring a 44,140 square foot brewery and distillery, a retail merchandise store, a full service restaurant and bar, drive through coffee shop and multi-use pavilion on a 0.80 acre green lawn.

Bengal Town Center Mixed Use Building

Construction is underway for a new mixed-use building located at 1900 Kauri Cliffs Drive within Bengal Town Center.

Calvary Baptist Church Parking Lot

A site plan is in review for the Calvary Baptist Church Parking Lot located at 7900 Ten Ten Rd. The proposed site includes an additional 64 parking spaces totaling 160 spaces. A future parking area is set to add another 143 spaces.

Hilltop Baptist Church

Construction is complete for Hilltop Baptist Church, located at 10212 Fayetteville Road. The plan proposes a 2-story classroom building on the existing church property with 148 additional parking spaces on 26.83 acres.

SuperDroid Robots Addition

Construction is complete for a 3,900 square foot building addition to SuperDroids Robots, located at 224 Technology Park Lane. 

Wake Chapel Parking Lot Rehabilitation

Construction is underway for the rehabilitation of Wake Chapel’s parking lot, located at 909 Wake Chapel Road.
