Pick up an egg in person or print one from home. Decorate and bring it into the Arts Center to display in our Easter Egg Window Gallery.
Draw a heart on the cardboard.
Cut out the heart shape.
Tape one end of the yarn to the back of the heart.
Wrap the yarn around the heart in all directions.
A little more wrapping.
Tuck the last end under a piece of yarn.
Tie a knot.
Trim off the end.
Draw a line across the plate for the top of the bird body.
Draw the wing, beak and eye on the top portion of the plate that does not have the hole punched in it.
Cut out shapes and along the line.
Glue parts onto bird body.
Time to decorate. Add pipe cleaner feet and decorate.
