Available To Local HVAC Businesses
The Town of Fuquay-Varina intends to procure the following services utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus) funds.
Location: Town Hall - 401 Old Honeycutt Road
1) Replacement of two (2) 7.5 ton Split System Heat Pump with matched Air Handler.
2) Installation of eight (8) Energy Star programmable thermostats to control eight HVAC units located at Town Hall.
3) HVAC tune up of six existing HVAC units at Town Hall
Location: Community Center – 820 South Main
1) Replacement of one (1) 3.5 ton Heat Pump with custom roof curb adapter.
2) Replacement of one (1) 5.0 ton Heat Pump with custom roof curb adapter.
3) Installation of three (3) Energy Star programmable thermostats to control three HVAC units located at the Community Center.
4) HVAC tune up of one existing HVAC units at the community Center.

The Town of Fuquay-Varina intends to procure the following services utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus) funds.
Location: Town Hall - 401 Old Honeycutt Road
1. Installation of 27 switch type room occupancy sensors (to replace on/off switches located at entrance doors).
Location: Community Center – 820 South Main
1. Installation of 16 switch type room occupancy sensors (to replace on/off switches located at entrance doors).
2. Retrofit of ninety-nine (99) existing 4-lamp T12 fluorescent light fixtures, four foot long with two to three (2/3) T8 fluorescent bulbs to include the change out of magnetic ballasts with electronic ballasts. Information on both these opportunities is available at Town Hall located at 401 Old Honeycutt Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC.
