| Q | Where do I report street maintenance issues? |

| A | It depends whether the street or road is state maintained or town maintained. If it is state maintained it must be reported to the N. C. Department of Transportation at 919-733-2520, if it is town maintained you can call 919-753-1027 to report the issue. There is a list on our website of the different roads and streets and who is responsible for maintaining them. There is also a weblink on our site to the DOT. | Q | Where can I dispose of construction/demolition material and hazardous waste material? |

| A | There are several landfills in Wake County that will accept this type of debris. You can contact South Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility in Apex at 919-387-2126 or North Wake Landfill & Recycling Center in Raleigh at 919-870-4345. You can also go to Wake County's government website and the different types of materials are listed and where to take it, there is also a web link on our website. |

| Q | Where do I report street light outages? |

| A | The street lights in Fuquay-Varina are maintained by Progress Energy. To report a non-working street light make sure to have the pole number and subdivision or street name and call Progress Energy customer service at 919-508-5400 or Kelly Ellington in the Public Works Department at 919-753-1027. |
