On November 3rd, Fuquay-Varina voters will have the opportunity to vote in municipal elections for representatives to serve on the Town Board. For mayor, incumbent John W. Byrne is running unopposed. Voters will find seven names on the ballot for three commissioner positions. They are Charlie Adcock, Marilyn Gardner, Bill Harris, Bryan Haynes, Henry Kuhn, Ed Ridpath and Beth Cassels-Anderson.
On November 3rd, Fuquay-Varina voters will also have the opportunity to vote on a $26-million bond referendum for three separate capital improvement projects including $21-million for transportation projects to improve traffic flow and congestion; a $3-million water bond to fund various water infrastructure improvement projects; and a $2-million sewer bond to fund various sewer infrastructure improvement projects.
