Schedule of Meetings

All regularly scheduled Board meetings are open to the public and media. The public is urged to attend all Town Board Meetings to ensure open communications between them and the elected officials. Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the first Monday and the third Tuesday after the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The Town Board regularly meets the first Monday of each month and the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall located at 401 Old Honeycutt Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC

The agenda is usually arranged so that public comments on matters of general interest are held early in the meetings, so citizens do not have to wait to have their opinions and/or input heard.

The Board is authorized to hold closed session meetings (usually at the end of the meeting) whenever necessary to discuss matters in accordance with state law G.S.§ 143.318.11. These meetings are not open to the public or media.

Procedure for Presenting a Request to the Town Board

Anyone wishing to include a request for information on the regular meeting agenda should contact the Town Clerk at (919) 552-1403, and provide written material at least ten days before the meeting date.
