What’s Coming to Fuquay-Varina

Raleigh Street Building

Plans have been approved for an 8,510 square foot two-story office/retail building at the corner of Raleigh Street and South Main Street directly behind the public parking lot replacing a recently demolished building.

Carillon Assisted Living

Construction is near completion on a one-story 41,007 square foot assisted living facility located on Johnson Pond Road across from the Sterling Ridge subdivision.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Plans have been approved and construction has begun on a one-story 16,587 square foot church on Johnson Pond Road adjacent to the approved Carillon Assisted Living facility and across from the Sterling Ridge subdivision.

SunTrust Bank

Plans have been approved and construction has begun on a 3,906 square foot one-story bank building on the corner of East Broad Street and North Judd Parkway NE.

South Wake Medical Park

Plans have been approved for Phase 1 of a medical/office park located adjacent to Ashford Commons on the corner of Broad Street (Hwy 55) and Old Powell Road. Phase 1 consists of two one-story 7,200 square foot buildings along Broad Street (Hwy 55).

Terminix

Upfit plans have been approved for Terminix to move into a 7,319 square foot space at 2910 N Main Street; Suite 100.

Bellini Fine Italian Restaurant

Renovation plans have been approved for an Italian restaurant located in the Harris Teeter shopping center. This restaurant will replace Rudinos.

Krispy Kreme

A Site Plan is under review for a 10,400 square foot commercial building located at the corner of N Judd Pkwy NE and E Broad Street across from the SunTrust Bank (currently under construction). This building will have a Krispy Kreme with a Drive-Thru and room for up to four more tenants.

Ashford Village

Construction of Phase 1 infrastructure is complete, lots have been recorded, and homes are under construction for an Open Space Subdivision on the corner of Old Powell Road and James Slaughter Road. The property is 19.780 acres, zoned R-10 and will include 64 lots.

Ashford Commons

Plans have been approved for a Zero Lot Line Subdivision adjacent to the Ashford Village subdivision on Old Powell Road. The property is 7.286 acres, zoned R-4 CU and will include 37 lots.

Bradford Landing

Construction of infrastructure is complete and lots have been recorded for an Open Space Subdivision adjacent to the Cottonwood subdivision on Barlang Circle just off Broad Street. The property is 4.45 acres, zoned R-6 and will include 18 lots.

Neill’s Pond

Preliminary Plans have been approved for an Open Space Subdivision located at the corner of Holland Road and Purfoy Road. The property is 47.90 acres, zoned R-15 CU and will include 107 lots.

Cellar 101

A new wine shop occupying 3,00 square feet located in the Mitchell Building has opened.
