The United States Constitution (Article I, Section 2) mandates a headcount of everyone residing in the United States every 10 years. This includes all 50 states, counties and municipalities.
The next Census occurs during March-April 2010.
The Town of Fuquay-Varina is motivated to ensure everyone is informed and participates in this important event. You may ask yourself why I should participate and how it helps me. It’s just more government bureaucracy in my private life. I don’t have the time to fill out these hard to understand questionnaires. These are all legitimate concerns.

Head start programs
Public transportation
Road rehabilitation and construction
Programs for the elderly and adult education
Delivering goods and services to local markets

Eligibility for housing assistance and rehabilitation loans
Planning for school projects
Making business decisions in the private sector
