Loose Leaf Collection Procedures

Image of Vacuum TruckMid-November to Mid-February Service

Loose leaf collection service is provided from mid-November through mid-February. During this time, leaves are vacuumed curbside. Residents may place loose leaves and pine straw that are free of limbs, sticks, rocks and other debris at the curb. Do not place leaves in the street where they may interfere with traffic or drainage. Do not block sidewalks or fire hydrants. For this service only, do not bag leaves since loose leaves are being vacuumed curbside. Please place leaves at the curb by late Sunday evening of the week of your service.

The Town will be on a regular schedule alternating weeks between the Gold and Green Routes. Your service week is determined by where you live and each route is given a color. The area south and east of US 401 is the Green Route. The area north and west of US 401 is the Gold Route. Loose leaves will be picked- up the same week as your recycling.
