FEED THE BIN IS EASY!
Recycle, leave your bin at the curb until 8 a.m. and you may be our next lucky WINNER!
Starting February 1, 2012, the Town will randomly select addresses from the recycling customer database and visit them to see if they have placed their recycle bin at the curb for pick up. If the selected address has its bin at the curb, that customer will win $50.00. Make sure your recycling bin is curbside after 7:00 pm on Tuesday before your regularly scheduled pick-up day! Recycling bins must be left at the curb until 8:00 a.m. to verify a winner.
A minimum of two $50 awards will be made each week from February 1—May 30, 2012. Weekly winners will be posted below and will be notified in writing. Award checks will be made payable to the account holder at the winning address.
This Feed the Bin recycling education program is funded by a Waste Management Recycle America grant. No taxpayer money is being used to fund the program however it is being administered by the Town of Fuquay-Varina.
If you don’t have a recycle bin and want to take part in the Feed the Bin promotion, please call 552-1408 and request a recycle bin and leave your address; a recycle bin will be provided to you at no cost.
Recycling saves money, preserves valuable landfill space, and supports a cleaner environment. Recycling is a win-win and now you could WIN a $50 prize just for recycling!
