Overview of the Town's Youth Sports Program
In just a year, our Town Youth Sports program has accomplished a great deal. Since the program began in September 2012, more than 2700 children have registered to play a variety of sports including baseball, cheerleading, dance troupe, flag football, soccer, softball, t-ball, tackle football, and volleyball. More than 630 adults have volunteered as coaches and 168 scholarships have been awarded so that every child wanting to play would have the opportunity to play.
Our second year as started out just as impressively! Registration in basketball has more than doubled from first year levels to 661 participants with 64 scholarships being given to those demonstrating financial need. More than 150 coaches have volunteered. This is just the beginning! We have the spring and fall seasons yet to go. Registration for spring youth sports will be January 2 through February 15. Below, find more helpful information on the sports we offer and how to register. We look forward to seeing you on the field!

Our vision of a town youth sports program is one that teaches sportsmanship, fair-play, new skills and builds character through competition in a safe and fun environment. Our program focuses on the whole child through positive coaching, teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, self-esteem, personal development, and socialization skills. Our goal is to provide recreational activities to enhance and build positive recreational experiences and healthy lifelong habits.
