Economic Development Overview

WELCOME TO Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.

Fuquay-Varina is a thriving town with an emerging business community, located only a short drive from Raleigh; #1 Fastest Growing City in the U.S. (Forbes, March 2013).

Fuquay-Varina is located next to the metro area of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, also known as the Triangle Region.  One of our community’s greatest assets is its location to other regions such as the Research Triangle Park and one of the country’s largest military installations, US Army Base Fort Bragg.  Fuquay-Varina is located in Wake County, the largest county in the Research Triangle Region, and is home to Raleigh, North Carolina's state capital.

Very few communities the size of Fuquay-Varina can boast of such an impressive base of existing industry. The corporate headquarters of Fidelity Bank, Bob Barker Company, Patriot State Bank, Southbend, Apex Instruments and InServe Corporation are located in our community as well as major manufacturing facilities for John Deere Turf Care and TE Connectivity.
