There’s nothing like a good fright and apparently lots of people agree! Last year, PRCRs hosted a Haunted Trail and more than 1,300 people attended, so we’re doing it again! FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, PARK AT THE F-V COMMUNITY CENTER AND RIDE THE SHUTTLE.
Family Fright, appropriate for families with younger children, will be from 5-6 pm. Full Fright, which will be scarier, will take place from 7-9 pm. Everyone is invited to attend. The Haunted Trail is free, but please note there will be scary stuff, so enter at your own risk! This is an outdoor activity with low lighting so remember to wear appropriate shoes, preferably tennis shoes and dress for the weather.

The Downtown Chili Cook-Off started in 2003 and continues to grow in popularity both with contestants and tasters. More than 20 individuals, businesses, and non-profit groups show off their cooking skills and compete to see who has the best tasting chili in Fuquay-Varina. Attendees can purchase a "tasting ticket" and then they vote to determine the People’s Choice winner. A panel of Judges determines 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners through a blind-tasting.
