OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY

Tour the Scarecrows in Downtown!

Here’s a fun activity to get you in the fall spirit! Stroll downtown Fuquay-Varina to see the scarecrows artfully created by our wonderful business owners and help determine the people’s choice by voting for your favorite! Vote by placing a quarter in the jar next to the scarecrow you love. You can vote more than once!

The proceeds from this seasonal sensation will be split between FVDA and the FV Food Pantry. FVDA will utilize the revenue to help fund the plants that adorn our downtown planters. The FV Food Pantry will utilize the revenue to stock their shelves in order to assist those in need of a hot cooked meal.

Winners will be announced at the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Chili Cook-off held on Saturday, November 1 on Depot Street.
