Municipal Parking Lot at S. Main and E. Vance Streets
The Tree Lighting will take place at 6:30 p.m., followed by local school performances. Schools to perform include Lincoln Heights Elementary, Fuquay-Varina Elementary, Ballentine Elementary, Banks Road Elementary, Fuquay-Varina Middle School, and Fuquay-Varina High School. Center Stage Dance Team will perform too! Visit with Santa Claus. Free hot chocolate! Thousands attend each year! Come enjoy the official start of the holiday season with family and friends in Fuquay-Varina.
Downtown Sleigh Rides

Ashworth’s BP Station
The Fuquay-Varina Revitalization Association will once again provide free horse drawn sleigh rides in the historic Fuquay District on the night of the Tree Lighting. The sleigh ride will be first come, first serve. The line will begin at TR Ashworth and will extend down the sidewalks on Main and Depot Street. Children age 2 and under must sit on an adult’s lap during the sleigh ride. The last ride of the evening will be at 7:55 pm.
