QHow do you have a voice in Board meetings?
AIf you wish to address the Board on a non-agenda item, the Mayor will allow you to briefly address the Board at the end of the meeting.

QWho currently serves on the Fuquay-Varina Board of Commissioners?
AMayor John W. Byrne, Mayor Pro Tempore William H. Harris, Commissioner Jeff Wells, Commissioner Cindy Sheldon, Commissioner Charlie Adcock and Commissioner Jimmy Johnson.

QHow can you serve on a Board-appointed Commission/Board?
APersons interested in serving on the Planning & Zoning Board, Board of Adjustment, or any Board-created Commission, should complete an application and file it with the Town Clerk.

QWhat about Public Hearings?
APublic hearings are held by the Board to give citizens the opportunity to comment on certain current issues involving the Town. All public hearings are advertised and placed on the agenda.

QAre Board meetings open to the public?
AAll regularly scheduled Board meetings are open to the public and media. The Board is authorized to hold closed session meetings (usually at the end of the meeting) whenever necessary to discuss legal and personnel matters. These meetings are not open to the public or media.

QWhat is the procedure for presenting a request to the Board?
AAnyone wishing to include a request or information on the regular meeting agenda should contact the Town Clerk at (919)552-1403, and provide written material at least four (4) full working days before the meeting date.

QHow do you find out what's coming up on the agenda?
AWe currently post the agenda online for your convenience. Printed copies are also available outside the Town Hall Board room and in the Town Clerk's office at the Town Hall, 401 Old Honeycutt Road.

QWhen are meetings held?
ABoard meetings are regularly scheduled for the first Monday and the third Tuesday after the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
