Major Events Celebrating Our Centennial

1. Birthday Celebration: March 6, 2009
2. Fourth of July Celebration: July 4, 2009
3. Gala Celebration October 10, 2009

Major contribution needed from everyone:

• Find old pictures of your family, town, events, trains, springs, or warehouses pictures of churches, schools, and businesses are needed.
• Contribute artifacts from our past: tobacco basket, demijohn, a phone book, clothing of famous citizens, items purchased at an early store, or programs from past events.
• Tell us stories of your memories from earlier times in town, share locations of houses, bussines, or schools.

Many other citizens are stepping forward to server on sub-committes as the event planning begins. Churches, businesses, schools, and civic organizations will be invited to partitipate in all these events.
