August 2, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Town of Fuquay-Varina Public Service Center
In the wake of violent incidents at places of worship throughout the nation, FVPD offers a Church Security Seminar to help inform church leaders & security teams about steps needed to protect congregations. The course provides direction for places of worship regarding reasonable measures of safety to confront the threats they may face during hours of worship. Topics of discussions will include prevention of violent acts, training of security teams, safety during an incident & how to react if an incident occurs. Because of limited seating & managing the number of attendees we are asking that only two representatives from each place of worship within the Town of FV attend the seminar, preferably the leader of the place of worship as well as the director of the security team/committee at the place of worship. Registration is required and the place of worship must be located within the Town of FV. To register contact Captain Adams at (919)552-1423 or email email@example.com.
