Pre-budget Public Hearing
Tuesday, February 21, 7 pm
Town Hall, 401 Old Honeycutt Road
The board of commissioners will soon begin work on developing 2017-2018 Budget and is interested in receiving suggestions and priorities from residents to help them in the development of the budget.  This is one of two public hearings that will be held on the budget.  The Town Manager will submit a recommended budget in May and a second public hearing will be held on the proposed budget on June 5, 2017.  The board will adopt the FY 2017-18 Budget no later than July 1, 2017. Retail Coalition Meeting

Community Transportation Plan Public Workshop

The Town is updating our community transportation plan (CTP). The CTP creates the Town's desired vision and steps for providing adequate transportation into the future. Transportation and traffic issues are priority concerns for our citizens.  Working together, we can solve issues.  We encourage you to participate in this process.

Getting Ready for Kindergarten Program

Project Enlightenment is still accepting applications for their Getting Ready for Kindergarten Program. This FREE program is for children who will be entering kindergarten next fall and are not attending childcare or preschool. This program is open to families who live in Wake County, have limited family income and have a child who was 4 by August 31, 2016. For more information call 919-664-7789.
